一.四、六级作文试题分类

四、六级作文从试题角度可以分为现象解释型、对比选择型、问题解决型、观点论证型与应用文五种类型。

(一) 现象解释型

此类作文在四、六级考试作文中最为常见。命题主要要求考生对某一社会现象进行解释并加以评论，其基本结构是：首先说明现状;其次阐述这种现状产生或存在的原因;最后做出分析，提出建议或总结观点。例如：1.六级真题(20xx年6月) 2.

(二) 对比选择型

此类作文同样是四、六级考试中常见的类型，它的标志十分明显。作文题目要求较明确，富有针对性，即直接要求考试比较两种观点或做法，进而表明自己对问题或事务的态度或观点，也就是做出选择。例如：六级：2007.6 四级：

(三) 问题解决型

此类作文要求考生从提示性文字或图表、图画入手，解释提示性文字、图表、图画反映出的问题，提出问题的危害性或解决这一问题的紧迫性;然后对问题展开分析，提出解决问题的方案或应对措施;最后一段要求考生表明自己的态度、做法等。如20xx年1月真题。

(四) 观点论证型

此类作文往往要求考生根据题目给出论点，按照提纲的结构要求对其下论证，然后表明自己的立场和看法。通过摆事实、讲道理的方式剖析事物，论述事理，发表意见，确立或否认某一主张。如：19xx年1月六级真题。

(五) 应用文

应用文中的信函，也是四、六级作文设计的试题之一。在这类题型中，考生会读到一个特定的场景，试题要求考生按照这个场景给相关人士写一封短信，并在信中明确表达自己写信的原因、动机、目的和愿望等。文章所设及的内容多种多样，但大部分都与日常生活比较贴近。书信的类型可能变化万千，如邀请信、申请信、感谢信、道歉信等，但是万变不离其宗，只要掌握了英语书信的格式，并应用恰当的句式和语句，就一定能够写出好的文章来。

foremost, there is a natural tendency to equate doing good deeds with a certain amount of reward, and reward with a certain amount of money. 书信是一种应用非常广泛的应用文形式之一.英文书信的种类很多.按照文体来分,可分为两大类,一类是私人书信(personal letters),另一类是事务书信(business letters).根据用途来分,常见的书信有申请信、投诉信、道歉信、咨询信、建议信和说明信等等.

书信格式

? 一封完整的书信应包括寄信人的地址和日期;收信人的姓名和地址;称呼;正文;结尾和签名. 1、信头（Heading）

指发信人的姓名（单位名称）、地址和日期，一般写在信纸的右上角。一般公函或商业信函的信纸上都印有单位或公司的名称、地址、电话号码等，因此就只需在信头下面的右边写上写信日期就可以了。

? 日期的写法，如19xx年7月30日，英文为：July 30，1997（最为普遍）； July 30th，1997；30th July，1997; 30 July, 1997等。1997不可写成97。 2、信内地址（Inside Address）

在一般的社交信中，信内收信人的地址通常省略，但是在公务信函中不能。将收信人的姓名、

地址等写在信头日期下方的左角上，要求与对信头的要求一样，不必再写日期。

1. 称呼（Salutation）

是写信人对收信人的称呼用语。位置在信内地址下方一、二行的地方，从该行的顶格写起，在称呼后面一般用逗号（英国式），也可以用冒号（美国式）。

（1）写给亲人、亲戚和关系密切的朋友时，用Dear或My dear再加上表示亲属关系的称呼或直称其名（这里指名字，不是姓氏）。例如：My dear father，Dear Tom等。

2. 正文（Body of the Letter）

位置在下面称呼语隔一行，是信的核心部分。因此要求正文层次分明、简单易懂。

3. 结束语（Complimentary Close）

在正文下面的一、二行处，从信纸的中间偏右处开始，第一个词开头要大写，句末用逗号。不同的对象，结束语的写法也不同。

（1）写给家人、亲戚，用Your loving grandfather，Yours lovingly (Lovingly yours)等；

（2）写给熟人、朋友，用Yours, Yours ever, Yours cordially (Cordially yours)，Yours affectionately (Affectionately yours)等；

（3）写业务信函用Yours truly (Truly yours), Yours faithfully (Faithfully yours), Yours sincerely (Sincerely yours)等；

（4）对上级、长辈用Yours obediently（Obediently yours），Yours respectfully（Respectfully yours）等。 4签名（Signature）

低于结束语一至二行，从信纸中间偏右的地方开始，在结束语的正下方，在签完名字的下面还要有用打字机打出的名字，以便识别。职务、职称可打在名字的下面。

5、附言（Postscript）

一封信写完了，突然又想起遗漏的事情，这时用P.S.表示，再写上遗漏的话即可，要长话短说。通常在信末签名下面几行的左方，应于正文齐头。

注意：在正式的信函中，应避免使用附言。

6、附件（Enclosure）

信件如果有附件，可在信纸的左下角，注上Encl：或Enc：，例如：Encl：2 photos（内附两张照片）。如果附件不止一项，应写成Encl：或Encs。

（四）抱怨信

写抱怨信要首先要注意信的格式和结构，一般是提出问题→说明问题→提出解决问题的建议

和想法。考生在写作过程中要根据题目的要求提供足够的信息，要注意时态准确，句型多样

化，避免用词重复，要展示出写复杂句子的能力, 还要注意礼貌，这是取得6分或以上的关

键。下面请看一封抱怨信的例文：

题目: The government will build a new airport near where you live. Write a letter to the newspaper explaining where you live and why you do not want this development.

Dear Editor,

I am writing to complain about the construction of an airport in the vicinity of my home, which is going to commence in a few months.
