通信英语学习心得

    This term we learned communications professional English course, I have benefited a lot from it. Not just in the area of professional knowledge, more is broadened our horizons and  enriched  our  knowledge.

    At first, I think it is an English class. When I finished my first class ,I understood the teaching of this course doesn’t emphasis much on basic English grammar. As also it does not have clear understanding to professional knowledge. I think the main purpose of this course is to allow us to understand and master the communication professional term, When we expand our vocabulary., we can smoothly through some foreign literature.In this way we can understand the meaning and translate it into a mother tongue.At the same time, we can learn some advanced technology in the developed countries .On the teaching content, the teacher introduced some of the latest technology and development trend. For example, By introducing the PCM pulse code modulation, we can understand the meaning of encoded data encryption, compression, translation, error control. Last but not least, the teacher also  discusses on the development of The Internet Of Things industry issues  and the advantages of RFID and the obstacles encountered in the process of its development.The cost,market demand and the professional personnel are likely to become the key factors. He will also help us  review the knowledge points in the last lesson, in this way, we remember more profound.

    So we must study professional knowledge hard and understand the latest technology and future development trend of communication field. In the future , we should keep learning to improve our professional basic skills.In a word, this course has given me great help.

心得

    这学期我们学了通信专业英语这门课程，它使我受益匪浅。不仅仅是在专业知识这方面，更多是开拓了我们的视野，增长见识。

    起初，我以为它既是一门英语课。当上了第一堂课后，我明白了这门课程的教学既不像基础英语那样过分强调语法，也没有深入去了解专业知识。我想这门课程的主要目的是让我们了解和掌握通信专业术语，扩展我们的词汇量。这样我们可以顺利地浏览一些外国文献，能明白其中意思，并把它翻译成母语。在教学内容上，老师介绍了一些当前最新技术以及发展趋势。例如,通过介绍PCM脉冲编码调制，了解了编码意义可以进行数据加密、压缩、翻译、误差控制。同时，老师还和我门对物联网产业发展过程中面临的问题进行探讨以及RFID优势和它发展过程中所遇到的阻碍。

    所以我们必须努力学习好专业知识，了解通信领域最新技术以及未来发展趋势。在今后学习过程中，我们要不断学习提高自己专业基础能力。总之，这门课程给了我很大的帮助。

学习通信英语心得

                  

   Nowadays ,a variety of communication technology developing rapidly,the latest literature of new technology and new theory is mostly in the form of the English version.So as a communication professional person in the future,we must have the ability of reading the literature of communication professional so that we can grasp the new technology and theory timely. Communication Professional English ,this course is to cultivate us for these abilities.It is very important and it is our obligatory course.

Though this course is important,I thought it would be boring.I don’t like it before I hearing that our teacher is a Taiwan man.I feel excited and curious ,how will he have a class.On the first class,I felt fresh that Mr.Hong is good at activating class atmosphere by asking questions,calling the roll,talking current news sometimes and grading according to the performance on the class. What reward is clear! This improves our study enthusiasm.Hey hey,I have to listen to the class seriously from now on.

Through the study of this semester, I learned the following communication professional English knowledge, digital communication systems, pulse code modulation and coding in communication system, Internet of things, the RFID technology, 4G mobile communication network and so on.Based on these aspects of learning, now I have a better understanding of communication engineering .It really opens my eyes and it involves everywhere in our daily life.I won’t regard it as just calling as before. After understanding the intrinsic principle of communication and technology,we can apply these techniques to practice and realize our own value. Now,I have more confidence for my employment in the future.In a word , communication engineering is vary useful !

     

    现如今，通信相关的各种技术发展迅猛，新技术新理论的最新文献也大多是英文版本的，因此作为未来通信专业的通信人员，必须具有熟练地阅读通信专业文献的能力，这样才能及时掌握通信的新技术、新理论。通信专业英语这门课程正是为培养我们这些能力而开设的。通信专业英语这门课程十分重要，是我们的必修课。

    虽然这门课程很重要，但是我总觉得它好像会很枯燥。在上这门课程之前，感觉还是很排斥的，但是听说这门课程是由台湾老师来教心里又不禁的兴奋、好奇，台湾老师会怎么上课的呢？第一堂课，就让我耳目一新，洪老师很会活跃课堂气氛，提问问题，点名，偶尔还会讲些时事新闻，根据课堂表现还有加分扣分，真是赏罚分明！这提高了我们的学习积极性。嘿嘿，上课不得不认真听讲了。

    通过这学期的学习，我了解了以下几个通信专业英语知识，数字通信系统，脉冲编码调制，通信系统的编码，物联网，RFID技术，4G移动通信网络等等。通过对这些方面的学习，现在的我对通信工程这个专业有了个更好的认识，真是大开眼界，原来生活中处处都要涉及到它，不像以前一样一无所知地以为通信工程就是打电话呢。了解了通信的内在原理和技术，以后可以将这些技术应用到实处，实现自己的价值，我对以后的就业更有信心了，总之，原来通信工程这么有用啊！

Feelings and experiences of studying English on telecommunication

After a term of studying English on telecommunication, I have further understanding about the subject. The first time I contacted this subject I thought the main intention of studying English on telecommunication is to learn English.In the first class ,the teacher asked us “what do you want to learn  in this class , most of us, including me,all wanted to study more about English, in order to practice listening, speaking, writing, etc. But the fact is not like what we thought.

We mainly study professional knowledge of English on telecommunication, although it doesn’t teach us knowledge as deep as “the Communication principle”, but the subject can deepen our understanding towards communication. The first chapter we learned in this class is the digital communication system. At that time we didn’t study professional knowledge of communication enough, and we haven't learned something related to this chapter, so I had trouble to understand it. But when we learned digital transmission system in other class , I found it is so easy for me to grasp. Because although I didn't understand it in the class, but I had rough realization about the digital communication system in my mind, which helped me study will get twice  results with half efforts. In the next few chapters, we learned the pulse code modulation, coding, Internet of things in the communication system,the radio frequency identification technology, the principle of PCM, all of this are based on the first chapter.

In the other hand,what we come into contact with in the English on telecommunication class is not only the knowledge in the textbooks but also some new technologies of communication, which is closer to our real life,and is helpful for us to understand the development of communication industry.

《通信英语》学习心得

经过一个学期的学习，我对通信英语这一门学科有了进一步的了解。之前我以为通信英语主要是学习英语，第一堂课上老师问我们主要想在这堂课上学到什么，好多同学包括我在内都是想进一步学习英语，练习听力、口语、写作什么的。可是事实并非如此。

通信英语主要是学习通信专业知识，虽然不像《通信原理》那科深入学习通信知识，但是这门学科可以加深我们对通信专业的了解和认识。在这堂课上我们首先学习的是数字通信系统这一章，那个时候我们对通信中的专业术语还不够了解，而且我们通信这一科目还没有学到相关知识，所以理解起来蛮吃力的。但是当我们在《通信原理》课堂上学到数字传输系统时，我理解起来就轻松多了，因为在通信英语课堂上我虽然没能理解，不过在脑海中对数字通信系统有了一个大致的概念，这样学习起来也就事半功倍了。接下来的几章节，脉冲编码调制、通信系统中的编码、物联网、无线射频识别技术、PCM原理，都在第一章的基础上进一步深入。

另外一方面就是，通信英语的课堂上我们接触到的不仅仅是课本里的知识，还有通信领域里新的技术，比较接近实际生活，有助于我们了解通信这一行业的发展动态。

                                                                 

通信英语课程心得体会

In this term ，we take English for communication this course. In this course，we learned a lot of knowledge. Communications professional English course this semester we have a certain basic knowledge of English professional knowledge and communication, I think to open the purpose of this course is expand to our vocabulary in communication technology, familiar with the term of communication, and understand the characteristics of the science and technology articles express, grasp professional English translation skills, enabling us to apply knowledge to practice, through the application of professional English proficiency English translation related technical documents and materials. In this semester, the teacher, a professor at the digital communication system, such as pulse code modulation. And the influence of Internet on our lives and RFID technology. In this course, the more interested in Internet of things and RFID technology. With the rapid development of economy, the concept of Internet of things have to start. And The Internet of things is based on RFID technology.

With this knowledge that the teacher taught ，enabling to recognize something more 。Also let us know the outside world in change, becoming more and more intelligent.  what’s more ,we thanks to the teacher's careful teach, let us harvest the rich fruit. In addition, the teacher talk about Taiwanese culture occasionally. Let we know another piece of land in China.

这个学期我们选修了通信英语这门课程。在这门课程中我们学到了很多的东西。这个学期的通信专业英语课程使我们具备一定的英语基础知识和通信专业知识，我觉得开设这门课程的目的是拓展我们在通信技术方面的词汇量，熟悉专业术语，并且了解科技文章的表达特点，掌握专业英语翻译技巧，使我们能把所学知识应用到实际中，通过应用专业英语能够熟练翻译相关技术文档和英语资料。在这个学期中，老师教授了数字通信系统、脉冲编码调制等知识点。还有物联网对我们生活中的影响，以及RFID技术。在这个课程里，比较感兴趣的是关于物联网和RFID技术。随着经济的快速发展，物联网的概念已经慢慢起步。而物联网就是基于RFID 技术来实现的。

通过老师讲授的这些知识，使我们认识到更多的东西。也让我们了解到外面的世界在变化，变得越来越智能化。感谢老师的悉心教导，让我们收获到丰富的果实。并且，老师也偶尔讲讲台湾文化，让我们这些大陆人了解了中国的另外一片土地。
