How to lead a better college life

Oh, gosh .you see, my shoes are wet. I really have to change for another one. I hate it when it’s been raining all the time. OK, complaining makes people negative. It’s nothing ,no big deal. We’re going to talk about something interesting and positive. Guys , do you wonder what that’s about? Before we start, let me introduce myself briefly.

My name is Archer, a -19-yeas old boy , borned on a town of HengYang , a city ,which has a long story and great economics potentiality, lots of tourist spots. Now I’m sophomore student of Changsha university science and technology in Changsha, studying civil engineer. But in show , I’m m a member of Mia’s class 915, a lovely family.

You know, since I’m a sophomore, I’ve learned a lot of general principles through one and half year’s college life .today ’ s theme is relevant to college life. And I gotta lot of great information, then I could use it if ever I decide to benefits more people. So today’s theme is about college life. Listen carefully, you’ll find something useful later in yours college life. And the best way to illustrate my points is to speak out my own experience from I came to college.

I still remember that day clearly. it was sunny day. With my uncle’s company, I stepped into my college after two hours’ train. I was surprised how large and beautiful my college is. At that moment, I can’t

wait starting my new life ,and I made up my mind that my college life must have been colorful. For the target, I would devoted all my energy to it. I didn’t realize how hard it is, until I finished my military training ,and went through several months of college life. At first, I found a real nuisance. Because each class has different room and you have to keep moving from one to another, sometimes even crossing the mostly whole campus. You may find things boring but you should be patient. Here comes the first point I wanna tell you. Until you graduate ,you understand the life is just a beginning. Just keep a normal and peaceful attitude to it. There’s still a lot things to learn. Once you went to college, you learned to be more independent in studying, and in daily life. no one will impose any standard on you. You can chosen not to have classes, just sleep at dormitory, surf internet on net bar, or go to have classes regularly.

Dormitory life is one of the most important parts of college life. As the saying goes ,he that lies down with dogs must rise up with flea. If you get really good roommates, you will become better. Otherwise , you become bad. Unfortunately, I was not luck enough. My roommates are those kind of guys who’re hard to predict. Sometimes they are pretty cheerful and talkative, and the next day they doesn’t say Hello to you. They just focus on playing computer games, and even not talk to me. You know I’m kind of talktive. So it really drived me crazy. What’s

worst, it really really really upsets me when they stay up late and make a lot of noise. I told them ,well, I need my sleep.i..i don’t know what to tell you I mean. And they just doesn’t seem get the message. Anyway I had it enough. But luckily, I was not influenced by them , not become a guy like them, and kept my nature.so here’s the second one. When you meet bad roommates, never give up, try your best not to be influenced by them. if they are good, learn something good from them. And though they are bad, you should get along well with them. After all you are going to go through a long time together. So pay attention it.

Another really important part is taking part in more extracurricular activities. You know , like join in the drama club or the swimming team, or something like that. If you could enjoy yourself more, you would make a lot more friends. The turning point for me was when I took part in a speech club. There ‘re all kinds of interesting games and educational activities program. I have to go to a training program for a week. I got up 6 O’clock, then be trained with a group of friends, and left life with a week of terrific memories. That happened in the first semester. However the happiness wasn’t keep long. Another turning point was when I took part in another club, Isay English club. Yeah, that’ right. Its name is similar to ishow English school. Due to this club, I was recommended to go to ishow. There are interesting people to meet. I met funny teacher mia, naughty boy scott,fashionable girl Vivian and so

on. You ‘ll see that you learn more than speaking English. You also learn how to be more confident and how to interact better with other people. On the personal side, you’ll be more opening and have courage to show yourself bravely.

And…you know what I appreciate ishow most. Well, I got my girlfriend in there. Oh ,the last point. That is in love with a girl in college. And it’s considered one of things a college student must do by a quite huge number of teachers and the old. I think there’re exact reasons for that. No one can make sure what will happen in the future, what kind of person you will become after you go into the real society. So why not enjoy yourself when you are in college, when still young.
