九月 熟悉词汇

所有考生都适合在最初的一个月,先行打好词汇基础。四级词汇量和六级词汇量分别是4500词和5500词。两个背词方式值得推荐:

1、在真题中背词

优势:以题目为背景,更能够知道单词的使用情况和准确含义,能够对单词的使用更加熟悉; 劣势:不成体系,较为零散。

2、用词汇书背词

优势:系统,易于复习和查找。

劣势:书本太厚,不易坚持,容易产生挫败感,单词记忆印象不深。

两者若能够结合,则善莫大焉。

十月 开始做题

我们始终推荐真题为练习的第一首选材料。你可以去买一本真题汇编。注意,由于四六级题目从20xx年开始改革,所以,建议大家以20xx年以后的题目为主。

切记,做真题之大忌是,一套一套的做,不加总结和查阅,只是努力地做下去… 我们推荐的步骤是:

计时做题(不要不写作文哦)——对答案——查阅所有生词和短语——确定所有选项可以看懂——确认阅读、听力、完型原文可以看懂——确认理解写作范文结构——三天后再次复习本套试卷中的单词和短语——一周后再次复习本套试卷中的单词和短语——考试前十天再次复习本套试卷中的单词和短语。

十一月 有的放矢

到了十一月,你慢慢会发现,听、读、写、译、词等不同的区域,总有强弱。这时,我们要开始对薄弱环节进行修补和提高。

十二月 准备战斗

到了这时,需要的不是英语的硬实力,而是对考试现场流程的熟悉和对时间的把握。建议大家,在严格控制时间的基础上,完成一次或两次模拟考试,这非常重要。

第三 怎么使用网络来学好英文?

有人预言,20xx年是网络学习爆发的一年,越来越多的人选择在网络上进行学习,目前有很多优秀的网络教育平台,在线学习一些课程无疑成为最高效的学习方法。在线学习除了可以不限时,不限次的学习,还可以跟学习同一科目的人认识,更能通过网络交流学习方面的问题。优秀的网络平台上一般还会有很多互动功能,像参加一些在线英语角,可以快速提高口语;在网上收听一些英文网络广播,可以提高听力和语感。

坚持听新闻网站的新闻(比如CRI,CCTV,China Daily),有利于听力的提高。坚持浏览境外媒体(CNN,Newsweek, Guardian)会让你的阅读能力有质的飞跃。习惯成自然,坚持一段时间后,效果就会显现。

第四 培养多方位的英语学习兴趣

有了兴趣,一切都好说。不要拘泥于书本。本着结交朋友的目的,我们可以在英语角放松身心;本着锻炼的目的,我们可以参加英语演讲和辩论赛,因为准备的过程很重要;本着放松的目的,我们可以看看英文影片,欣赏原版话剧等等。学习和进步都应该是全方位的。

很多要考四六级的同学认为:真题是已经考过的,不会再考了。其实这是个认识误区。真题虽然考过了,但四六级词汇量固定、词组固定、句子结构固定、篇章结构固定、选项设置固定、出题规律固定、考点固定。因此真题的重要性就毋庸置疑了。既然这样,那该如何利用呢?

真题只做一遍,做完之后就是研究。一套真题至少可从3方面研究:

1)词汇:没有一个词汇不认识

从备考一直到考前两周不需做模拟题;每套真题至少研究2周左右。学习讲究求精不求多,求质不求量;四六级词汇的核心意思即真题中考过的意思;所以考四六级不一定背词汇书,把真题中的词汇搞定即可。

2)选项:没有一个选项不了解。要搞清楚正确选项为什么正确、错误选项为什么错误;比如阅读题各选项的出处:来自于文章的第几段、第几句话等;研究错题:错的题目是你的弱点,一定得改善,否则分数永远提不高;考前3天-1周,建议大家不要再做题了;保持心态平和。

3)句子结构:没有一个句子结构不清楚。

下面分以下几个版块来谈:

一、词汇

利用真题。边记单词边做真题,通过真题来巩固词汇记忆,查漏补缺。第一、态度要认真。在做题过程中遇到不认识的单词和词组别怕麻烦,一定要认真总结下来并查出与之相关的用法,然后记忆。开始可能会遇到相当大的困难,但只要坚持两周,就会发现进步了很多。第

二、虽然04年以前的真题是老题型,但是里面的单项选择也就是词汇题是必须要看的,而且要把历年真题的词汇题中不认识的单词一一记录并查字典。只要认真按照这个做,词量汇一定会倍增。

二、听力

其实四级听力考来考去,那些短文、对话都是在生活和校园里经常出现的对话。可以通过看历年真题的听力文字多熟悉题目,看多了就会发现做起题来简单很多。这就是为什么读过或背过的文字再听一般都能听懂。对文化背景和常用短语的不熟悉也会造成听力理解上的障碍。英文口语中有很多口语化的词汇是英语课本中没见过的,但是在听力中经常出现,这就

要求你要积极一点,多积累一些。可以把历年真题中出现的口语化语言积累起来以方便记忆。因此真题仍旧是最为重要的练习材料。你需要准备英语历年听力真题(如19xx年—20xx年,共24份)。根据自身具体情况,制定每天的学习计划。比如早上\晚上某个时间段进行听力练习。到考试前,真题全部都认真听过了。将历年的真题仔细听,反复听。将没听清楚,不能确定,没及时反应出来的地方标出来反复听,对照参考答案认真分析。建议你至少听三轮:第一轮:将没有听清楚和明白的地方标注出来。第二轮:第一轮中标注的地方仔细听,直到听懂,修改第一轮的答案。然后对照标准答案,错误地方的认真分析,标注。第三轮:边听边写下内容,可以先尝试短对话,再写写长对话,写完后对照原文,查漏补缺。

三、阅读

在阅读材料的选择上,建议仍以真题为主,这样最有针对性。如20xx年到20xx年的真题阅读需要全部细读琢磨几轮。还可以抽时间将真题朗读一遍以培养语感。在练习真题阅读时最好限制时间以便能掌握自己的做题速度,感受考试时的压力。只有在模拟考试的氛围中,你才能准确认识到自己的真实水平,存在的优势和不足,以便在今后的学习中有针对性地提高。阅读能力的提高需要大量地做题,每天坚持做3-5篇。建议第一遍做时严格按考试时间要求完成,第二遍对答案后,精读文本,把每个单词,每句话都弄懂. 看题目时要真正弄明白题目中句子的意思,如果没有准确理解问题,会导致你对照原文时不容易辨明真假,让你有种雾里看花的感觉。另外题目中的数量词、大写的人物名词,地点名词等都应该立即画下来做标记,这些词都是文章的路标,很可能就是出题点,根据这些路标很容易找到题目在文章对应的答案位置。

四、综合(完型)

四六级考试中的综合完形填空基本上是考语法和固定搭配的,所以只要把这两项抓上去就会有很大的提高。建议做历年真题,总结一下历年完形填空中出现的语法和搭配,同时认真把出现的近义词进行比较然后记忆。

五、写作

背诵范文,即历年真题参考范文,对提高四六级作文水平很有效果。模仿是创造的前提,背范文的主要目的是为了模仿,模仿作文的结构和精彩用法。时间有限,建议考生自己把近三年的四六级写作范文背诵,背诵过程中要注意文章的结构安排和思路,用词的倾向等。这样做可以,一、熟悉英文写作的结构,二、熟悉适合自己的固定句型,即“万能句”。

六、翻译

对于翻译,要注意抓关键词,因为这些关键词是得分点,如果你把关键词丢了,即使句子的整体意思能翻译出来,得分也是有限的。多做真题翻译并对照答案解析,你对关键词的敏感度就会提高。

总结:基础+真题=成功

、只动耳不动手

很多考生反映,平时练习听力的时候感觉还行,考试就写不出正确答案,或者老师讲授的方法都明白,做题时却无从下手。这其实是备考听力时一个致命的误区导致的,只动耳不动手。要知道听力考查的一个重要方面是瞬间记忆和速记的能力,所听所想最终要落实到卷上的答案。这种能力主要就是体现在耳朵到手写的转化过程中,试问你只听不看题不写,中间省略掉这么大的过程,怎么能提高四六级的听力分数了?四六级听力是应试考试,做题技巧很重要,老师讲授的方法只是启发,唯有在亲自动手练习中才能慢慢摸索和积累。

2、多泛听少精听

有的同学每天听得那个天昏地暗,上哪都放着听力,走路听,吃饭听,睡觉听,看似努力非常,但是效果却不理想。要在有限的时间内提高听力,多精听少泛听更好。因为四六级考试40多分钟的听力需要你集中注意力精听,在限定的时间内听懂内容选择出答案。平时越习惯泛听的同学可能在考场上越会遇到走神,注意力涣散的问题。建议同学们每天早上抽出一个时间段,40分钟到一个小时即可,安静地坐着,练习听力。远比每天带着耳机,貌合神离的效果好。

3、无的放矢,头痛医脚

相对于阅读等类型的题,听力考查的语言能力更为全面。词汇的拼写,读音,语法,材料的理解和记忆能力等都有包含。很多同学听不懂再听,听不懂再听,最后还是有很多地方听不懂,所谓一鼓作气再而衰三而竭,信心倍受打击。其实这时候应该停下来,看看自己听不懂究竟是在哪块上出了问题。比如是不是单词的读音,句子的语调,或者是连读弱读爆破音等原因影响了?明确问题后,有的放矢的进行突破。如果是语音语调上的问题,多朗读而不是花时间在单词拼写上,切忌陷入头痛医脚的误区。

4、娱乐至上

一些同学备考四六级听力的常态是音乐与电影齐飞,娱乐学习两不误。听英文歌曲和电影对白对听力提高肯定有帮助,但是过程太慢,尤其是四六级。很多同学到最后就只剩娱乐了,因为我们很容易就被歌曲美妙的调子和电影扣人的情节给吸引去了,而忘记了练习听力的初衷,看过几百部英文电影的人听力不一定多好。而且歌曲和电影可能出现很多口语俚语的表达,对四六级来说帮助不是很大。所以建议同学们先把娱乐放一放,踏踏实实的做些有用的听力练习。

一、总体备考时间安排:

A. 前一个月:继续认真做题,一周至少两套,至少把20xx年至今的真题试卷都做一遍。要求是第一:最好以近5到8年的真题为主,拿听力,阅读而言,翻透吃透题目,很多单词是反复出现的,不会的查出来背熟记牢。第二:把历年所有的题目里面的考点和选项部分,形成变换,条件允许,摘抄出来,形成笔记,每天做完题看一下,一定要滚瓜烂熟,脱口而出,每次考试一定会有以前老题改编出来的新题,换汤不换药,熟能生巧。

B. 接下里10天主要进行单科突破的学习,纠错补缺,分析哪个部分自己最薄弱,对于题目中反复出现的一些句型和单词形式,多多注意,坚持练习,新东方的课程里有针对单项的魔鬼训练营,有针对性的进行高强度的练习,一定会有效果。

C. 最后10天使做考前准备。除了做些预测题,考前一个星期的时候,还要调整好作息时间。注意,考试是早上9:00,至少8:00就得起床,考场在其他较远学校的更应该早起;考试持续2个小时20分左右的时间,过程中很难上厕所,因此,建议各位同学在前一个星期的时候,安排一到两回考试,模拟正式的考试,整个感受下现场的时间压力和状态,过程中尽量避免被打扰,一气呵成,注意随时调整自己的状态,了解下考试技巧。

二、各部分备考:

A. 词汇:单词差很多的同学,赶紧认真背单词,可以安排自己四级的每天100个,考六级的每天200个,太少来不及,太多背不了,采取车轮战术,反复记忆,孰能生巧,看多了总能记住不少。做阅读的时候,将不认识的单词记下来,多练多总结阅读真题的过程中,自然会强化单词的记忆。关于背单词的技巧,除了网络课程外,可以去刘一男老师的新浪博客,里面有很多记忆方法,看看自己适合哪一篇。

B. 听力:对于有余力的同学,听力真题听完后,应该找些比考试稍微高级点的资料,如考四级可以找六级,考六级找考研的资料等。对于时间很紧的同学,就认真听考试水平的真题材料,每天一定保持至少45分钟以上持续注意力去专心听听力,而且主要是精听而不是泛听,因为正式考试的听力是40分钟左右,平时就要练习保证考试时能集中注意力。并且最好每天做一下听写,花十到二十分钟的时间练习短对话的听写,它很大程度上能迅速提高你们对听力的敏感度。若有余力,背诵听力材料也非常有效,近五套就行,当然开始时这需要花费相当的时间和精力,同学们可根据自己的情况选择。

还有一些技巧的东西需要注意,如在复合式听写中,考试中如果遇到不确定的情况,一种情况是直接放弃,单词分少,句子分多,不要直接放弃,想想这个句子当中有一些元素是否听到过,建议大家把听到的东西写下来。要注意联系前后文猜词猜句子。比如,它里面包含的一些词汇和形式,前面出现过,只需要做一个简单的抄写工作就可以拿分数了。

此外,提高听力的预览能力也很重要,我们听力部分一共是36道题,看题时间只有3分钟,180秒匀到36道题上,一道题大概是5秒钟左右。小对话八道题,只需要看三道题就可以了,剩下五道怎么办?每道题的间隔时间是5秒,接下来的五秒钟看下一道题。有的题目听完了实在不知道,就放弃,否则会影响下一道题。四六级的听力,四级我们建议大家还是选择听到什么选择什么的方案,大家看题的时候,千万记住两点,1.请各位同学注意选项当中谓语和动词的位置。2.永远不要期待把选项全部看完,重点关注与问题对应的选项的那个位置。

C. 阅读:真题的阅读练习必不可少,课堂中有老师讲授的阅读方法,还有针对快速阅读等各个项的魔鬼训练,同学们可以有的放矢地进行突破,一定有进步。此外还要注意一些技巧性的方法。阅读包括快速阅读、填空和精选。快速阅读考技巧,建议大家一定提前看一下题目,注意一些非常重要的核心词汇点,比如数据,比如下滑线,比如说人名、地名,时间等。还有一些明显解释说明的地方,加括号,破折号或者冒号等。然后我们再回到快速阅读的文章当中去寻找这样的点,如果快速阅读是小标题更好,题目基本就是按照一个标题一个问题来排列的,会为找答案节约不少的时间。精细阅读,20分钟读两篇文章有难度,记住几点,一般首段、第二段、前两段,静下心逐句来看,之后看一下题目,返过来再读后方内容,如果时间不够用,建议大家后方的每一段最好以前两句,或者最后一句为主,注意段与段之间的结合和关系。还有无需强求自己一定能完全看懂文章,所有的单词都认识,细节都明白,没必要也没可能。选对答案就行。有些同学在考场上一遇到不明白的单词或者句子就开始心慌着急,在看文章上浪费太多的时间。

D. 作文:写作需要多写。考压题、背模板,都是一些治标不治本的方式,建议大家踏踏实实做这样几件事情。首先有50天左右的时间,如果真是一个有心人,是否给自己规定一个任务,至少写十篇文章以上,一篇文章复习部分120字,10篇文章1200字,量并不多。10天可以选择真题,教研生活、社会话题等等的方向,写完十篇之后,就会有一些写作的技巧。第二,这段时间大家正在阅读,建议从每一篇阅读当中摘录一到两句能看懂,觉得句型结构非常好,表达很精彩的句子,默写它们。考试时一定能够用的上。第三,大家一定要在规定的时间内完成作文的书写,而且一定不要在计算机上写,练习时要尽量养成少修改的习惯,因为考试时一是时间紧,二是不是用铅笔,不方便修改,书写工整很重要。单词的拼写,标点符号等错误都是丢分的关键。需要多练,这些看似小小的问题才能发现并改正。

一、用形容词“very”,“single”等表示强调

二、用反身代词表示强调
