商务英语 report

These papers were divided into three parts to show us a clear definition of human resource planning.

The first part is forecasting staffing needs of the firm. If the firm did the inappropriate thing at the inopportune time such as hired new employer in a hard time and soon laid them off would scared the workers who were still employed . Then all of them turned into ineffective. This part is the base of other parts.

The next part is about job analysis include job specification and job description. The former states the credentials necessary to qualify the position, the latter states the tasks and responsibilities of it.

After the forecasting staffing needs and job analysis is # which is the most important part. It can occur internally or externally. Internal # is to fix the position with the existing employees. Their personalities and limitations can be known. External # is to pick someone out of the firm to fill position, especially some specialized job positions. Then it comes to screening applicants. There are many steps here. The first step is to assess each application to eliminate those unqualified people. After that is interview process which is to test the communicational skills. The third step is to contact the reference. During this time, lots of people explode their bad work habits and the limitation of skills. Finally when the applicant pass all of

these, maybe there is an employment test waiting.

All of these hard work will make the firm has the better development.

Report on complaints

Introduction

As request of line Manager, I am submitting the following report on customer complaints in the first quarter of 2002.

Findings

From the table shown, we find 300 complaints in January,540 complaints in the issue of computer system breakdown in Feburuary and 230 compliants about improved order system introduced in March.

Concering the reasons for complaints, as the data suggests, complaints about incorrect order delivered make up 16% of the fisf quarter of complaints.However, this reason occurs fewer in March.Complaints about time taken to deliver and product quality unsatisfactory respectively account for 56% and 28%.It is noted that we have strengthend the

management of our stuff and have trained the skills of our labor to imorove our product quality.

Recommendations

In order to improve delivery, I would recommend that we conduct research into the

effectiveness of our express department as well as other factors.If delivery complaints are caused by our stuff,punishment measures should be taken.I also propose that we renew our machinery to improve our product quality.
