百万英镑读后感

《百万英镑》写于1893年,是美国著名作家马克·吐温的中篇小说,作者用漫画笔法勾勒了不同人物在“百万英镑”面前的种种丑态,幽默滑稽,就如同一幅世态讽刺画,生动的表现了小市民的见闻,令人忍俊不禁。本书讲述了一个美国穷小子亨利·亚当斯在伦敦的一次奇遇。伦敦的两位富翁打赌,把一张无法兑现的百万大钞借给亨利,看他在一个月内如何收场。一个月的期限到了,亨利不仅没有饿死或被捕,反倒成了富翁,并且赢得了一位漂亮小姐的爱情。

《百万英镑》读后感

印象最深刻的一本书是马克·吐温写的《百万英镑》这本书的写作手法十分风趣。这本书叙述了这样一个离奇的故事:

穷小子亨利·亚斯当意外获得了一张百万英镑支票。由于这张支票数额巨大,无法兑换,也就是说,并无实际用途。但是,在充满拜金主义的20世纪英国,围绕这张百万英镑却发生了一系列荒诞而又引人捧腹大笑的事。亨利因为这张支票,获得了一个好职位,也获得了一笔不菲的钱财,还获得了美人芳心。最后故事以喜剧收场,但却令人感慨万分。

这本书让我了解了20世纪的英国,和当时英国人对金钱的崇拜,对地位的崇拜。有的英国人为了巴结有钱人,竟让有钱人在他们开的小店里随便吃。然而那时候的英国人却看不起穷人。当亨利是穷人时,别人都很歧视他,当亨利有了那张百万英镑时,他们又开始向亨利献媚。这完全是两幅不同的脸面。可见当时的英国人对金钱的看重。我很喜欢看这本书,这本书很有意义。

读《百万英镑》有感

《百万英镑》描述了一个流落伦敦的美国人亨利·亚当,他遇上两名打赌的伦敦亿万富翁,从而得么一张百万英镑的支票。亨利饥肠辘辘,去了一家饭店,老板见他像个穷光蛋,打发他到角落里,侍者也觉得他没钱付,当他结账时,所有人都惊呆了,支票却是一百万!于是他被当成了一个行为古怪的百万富翁,不仅吃饭免了单,临走时老板还对他两次90度的鞠躬!

由于衣衫破旧,他准备做一套衣服,在服装店内,营业员将他一个推给另一个,最后被推到了成衣间。小店员极为势利,给他一件很不合身的衣服打发他,结账前还讽刺他一番。当亨利拿出百万英镑时,小店员竟哭了起来!老板知道后,为亨利免单量身订做了48套一年四季在各种场合穿着的衣服!

马克·吐温着重揭露了当时社会金钱至上的拜金主义,钱!成了衡量一切的标准!非常可笑的是,当一名开玩笑的英国贵族将支票藏起来后,股市大跌,人们开始怀疑亨利

是否有支票,众人都来拆他的台。一个贵族骂了亨利,衣服也被收走,可是,当支票又重新回到亨利的手中时,那位贵族马上又笑逐颜开说:“上帝保佑您!”衣服又原封不动送了回来。其实这种现象在我们现实社会中又何尝没有,有的情节比这种说话变卦、态度变卦更加严重!一些医生为了钱,可以为病人做不必要的检查,给病人吃不必要的药,把假的弄得比真的还认真!在这种丧失医德、人性的医生眼里,金钱比生命更可贵!这种行为不知比《百万英镑》中的现象要恶劣多少倍!最近看到一则新闻,中考优秀生被冒名顶替,由于顶替人的父亲有钱,便可以使自己的子女冒名顶替别人,不仅分数顶替,姓名、身份、户口??全部被替代了。受害者十余年沦落为黑户在外打工,因为是黑户备受欺凌,另一个却能受教育、拿工资??十余年后再查此事,法庭上除冒名者外,共九个被告:母校、班主任、教育局、公安局等等,也就是说,冒名者父亲的金钱驱使他们干出了这种违纪、违法、有愧于良心和道德的事来!

不管如何爱钱,不要丢掉做人最基本的诚实的本性;不管怎样爱钱,不要抛弃道德、良知;不管怎样爱钱,不要伤害别人;不管怎样爱钱,必须通过正当途径来获得!
