Real Steel

In an English class, we watched a movie about a man and his son and a robot. It moved us.

In the year of 2020, human boxing has been taken the place of the robots boxing. Under this background, the man who was a boxer in the passed was unemployed. So he was bent to buying a new robot to earn more money, even wanted to ‘sell’ his son to his wife’s sister. But when he looked after his son, he changed a lot.

As usual, he lost his competition again. When he and his son went to dump to find some machine parts, his son found an abandoned robot. It is an old model, but it can learn people act. Max wants to make robot take part in boxing competition, but all the people including his father didn’t look it good. They think it is too old and lacks fight ability, but boy believed his robot, and train it.

Soon the boy and his robot won their first competition. And this thing is a beginning of the emotion between the man and his son. They found their advantage each other. They enjoyed the day they are together. They win too again and again but they faced challenging that a robot called Zeus and apartment. At last the man began to know how much he loved his son. He went to find his son and went to the competition against Zeus. At the most important moment, the part of the robot went bad, so the man. Although they failed, they won the respect from all the

audiences.

I think this movie is about family love. It’s very important in the world. It should exist in every family. That is love.

有时，我真怀疑那机器人在某些时候是有自我意识的，所以他“救”小正太也就不完全是一个偶然。 他在电影中的名字也恰好说明了这点。“亚当”——不正是圣经故事中人类起源者的名字。幸好，他没有象《猩球崛起》里的猩猩一样开口说话，这说明故事的重点还是在人。这片子披着科幻的外衣，里面包着的还是人文关怀的柔软内核。这故事最大的看点是小人物击败大人物，这也是每个生活在不如意中的小人物们的梦想。所以，该片才会有那么多的拥趸。

故事发生的背景在20xx年，离现在不到10年。到那天，机器人替代人类打拳击是否会成为事实？其实这故事完全可以写续集。亚当有了自我意识，不愿再象古罗马的角斗士一样被当作人类的娱乐和赚钱工具和别的机器人在拳击场上搏击，他率领其他机器人推翻人类的统治······这故事发展下去直接就是电影《骇客帝国》的前传。将来，到底是基因突变的大猩猩会统治地球，还是有了自我意识的机器人会统治地球？个人倾向机器人多一些，至少他们没有那么多毛；还有机器人是铁皮做的，如果他们有了自我意识，会比猩猩们更有威力吧。
