《爱国者》观后感

相比我泱泱华夏，美国的历史真是格外的短，迄今不过两百多年。我对美国这个霸道的国家没什么好感的同时，也在好奇，在这短短的两百多年间，到底是什么让它的经济文化政治军事如此强大，最终坐上头号强国的交椅？看完了《爱国者》，我想我找到了答案。 是一种精神。在那艘五月花号上，那些最初在殖民地生活的居民因为宗教等原因阔别家乡来到一个完全陌生的地方，这本身就是一种巨大的勇气。可以预见，拥有这样勇气的人又怎能长时间服从于英王的压迫呢？他们身体的内部藏着一个个不屈的灵魂，不满被压迫，当英王乔治将这根弹簧压到一定程度时，就会剧烈地反弹，引发独立战争。

究竟要不要战争？男主角本杰明马汀也面临着这个抉择，起初他厌倦了为殖民扩张进行的战争，他反对战争的，而当他的儿子托马斯无辜遇害时，他终于明白，不战争，不反抗，会使更多人受到伤害，于是他跟随儿子加百列，愤然组建民兵，开始对抗英军。虽然是美国传统的传奇英雄套路，但确有不少令人感动的细节。例如那天他给部下们放假三天，原以为他们不会回来了，却看到了一个个在雾中划船而来的身影，为了自由，为了自己和家人的幸福安康，他们置自己的生命于不顾，他们本是一个个独立个体，却因为同一个目标团结在一起。再例如加百列的死，战争是无情的，之前他违抗父亲选择参军，后来为保护家人主动被抓，再后来新婚燕尔便告别可爱的安，重返战场，最终马革裹尸，令人唏嘘的同时心里是满满的敬意。

整部影片反复提到的还有free这个单词，自由。自由是什么？“生命诚可贵，爱情价更高。若为自由故，二者皆可抛。”诗人如是说。自由是可以不在任何人的压迫下去做不愿意做的事，是在不妨碍他人权利的前提下做自己想做的事。片中那个黑人一直在说追求自由，他眼中闪烁的坚定光芒，却让我肃然起敬进而为他悲哀，要知道黑人奴隶制一直到南北战争结束后才被废除，他冒着生命危险争取到的free却不是他的，他未必不知道却依然奋斗。另一段相关的情节是马汀的家人与黑人仆人，是仆人，而非奴隶，因为他们双方都不认为他们是奴隶与奴隶主的关系，从后来这些黑人仆役收留了马汀的家人并且马汀的孩子们与他们的融洽关系可以进一步看出他们的关系甚至类似于和谐的家人，一个细节是当英军来抓加百列时，那些黑人仆役昂首挺胸的说出“我们不是奴隶。”这种平等地看待对于美国这个种族大熔炉来说，是必须的。

我想以此作为结语，马汀等爱国者不惜付出生命所追求的，美国要实现的自由的社会是这样的。

当我们让自由之声响起，让自由之声从每一个大小村庄、每一个州和每一个城市响起来时。我们将能够加速这一天的到来，那时，上帝的所有儿女，黑人和白人，犹太教徒和非犹太教徒，耶稣教徒和天主教徒，都将手携手，合唱一首古老的黑人灵歌：“自由啦！自由啦！感谢全能上帝，我们终于自由啦！”——马丁路德金《我有一个梦想》
