Great Changes

The activity of being a good student and good citizen has been held since the beginning of this term in our school. Everybody has taken part in it.

In the past, we didn’t have the habit of keeping our classroom tidy and even threw waste anywhere. We weren’t polite enough to our

teachers and sometimes forgot to say hello to them. When we were doing shopping or waiting for a bus, some of us jumped the queue instead of obeying the rules.

But now everyone would like to do cleaning and put waste into dustbins. Everybody is friendly to their classmates and often helps our teachers with something. In public places, we try to wait in line and offer seats to the old on the bus.

What great changes have taken place! We hope every student can keep it up. (I think the activity should last long.)

Dear Mike,

From the TV I know many A/HINI I flu cases are reported recently in the United States and many schools are closed as a result. I’m so worried about you. Are you alright? Are there any A/HINI flu cases in your school? Do you still have to school everyday?

To stay away from the disease, you’d better stay at home as much as possible and not go to places where there are many people. Wash your hands more often to keep them clean; Open the window to have more fresh air in the room; And eat more fruit and vegetable to keep yourself fit and strong.

This morning, I saw a blind man walking across the street on my way to school. A car was going to hit him. I ran up to him and pulled him back. The man was saved. I took him to the other side of the street. The man thanked me for doing that, but I didn’t wait for his thanks. I went to school at once. It was late. The first class had begun when I got to the classroom. After I told my teacher what had happened,‖ Well done, Ling Feng,‖ said the teacher with a smile

I feel happy today though / although I was late for class, because I have done a good thing.

Friday March 12th 2004 Sunny (Fine)

Today is Tree Planting Day. At 8:00 in the morning, the students met at our school gate. We walked to the hill 3 kilometers away. Mr Zhang and other teachers went with us.

When we got there, we worked in pairs. First, we dug some holes( in the ground ) . When the holes were deep enough, we put the young trees in the holes, and then filled them again. At last we watered the trees well.

All the students worked very hard, and we planted about 200 trees. Though we were very tired, we still felt happy.
