汤普森夫人和泰迪·斯托达德人生最重要的时刻都是从那个粗陋的圣诞礼物开始的。

让我们先来看看四条学生评语的摘抄

1、“聪明的孩子,笑口常开, 作业工整,礼貌待人……与他在一起很开心。”

2、“优秀的学生,同学们都很喜欢他。”

3、 “母亲去世对他打击很大。他父亲不大理会,家庭问题失控加剧。”

4、“性格孤僻,有厌学情绪。他朋友不多,有时候上课睡觉。”

很难想像上面的四段评语是对同一个学生做出的评价,但事实上,这四条评语都是不同年级时特迪的老师写给他的,如果汤普森夫人没有去认真的了解特迪的过去,那么她对特迪的印象恐怕还是和上面的第四条一样,好在特迪和汤普森夫人都是幸运的,而做为一个老师,看看我们身边的学生,也许有人就没有这样的幸运了,因为在大多数时候,我们都只看到了第四条,没有看到也没有想去看前面的三条。泰迪通过装着他妈妈遗物的圣诞礼物向汤普森夫人表示了他内心中想要得到关注的渴望,从而改变了自己,也改变了汤普森夫人的命运。而现在的我们是否就像汤普森夫人收到那个惹人发笑的礼物之前一样,也不知道班级里那个最不惹人喜欢、最孤僻厌学的学生也想对我们抛出橄榄枝呢?

老师都不喜欢学生犯错,会对学生的行为感到很气愤,要求学生绝对不允许犯错,对上课迟到、做错事情、违犯纪律甚至消极学习的学生严加责罚。针对学生所犯错误的危害性、严重性展开凌厉的语言攻势,要求学生认错并承诺不再犯错,这样反而适得其反,学生会因为你要求太严而产生抵触情绪,就像学生抵触其父母一样,你不要说你是为他们好,其实有哪位家长不是为自己的孩子好?但是他们的孩子还是有很大的抵触情绪,原因在于,其实孩子不光是你的孩子,他更多的是以一个人的形式存在的,因此,你要把他当人看,是人都会犯错,你不能强迫他们按照你自己的意愿来做,有时甚至我们应该允许他犯错,因为犯错是为了下次不犯错。

同汤普森夫人不同,对于我们高中老师还说,我们面对的中学生个子长的越来越高大,他们比儿童更有独立性和自己的主见,言行也越来越趋近于成人,也认为自己为是成年人,可以对自己的行为负责,可以自己为自己的命运操盘,然而学生不管多么魁梧、强壮,表面上多么成熟世故,但他们毕竟是孩子,不要指望学生会和你同步,不要把他们看得太大,他们只不过是一个不懂事的孩子,你能期望他们会那么听话,把任何事情都做得那么到位吗?其实,一切都是不可能的。要允许学生去犯错,犯了错允许他去改正,这样学生才能在曲折中成长。 我们不会陪伴学生一生,但我们对学生好与坏的影响却会伴随他们一生,做为老师,我们的每一次小小的言行可能都会影响学生一生的世界观与价值观,汤普森夫人并没有多么伟大的壮举和高深的学识,她正是从平凡的点滴中去发生学生的闪光点,再把这个小小的闪光点激发成为一颗闪亮的明星。

我们的身边还有很多的泰迪·斯托达德等我们去发现,每一个教师都有可能成为汤普森夫人,最后让我们回到课堂中,回到学生身边,从每一个点滴,每一件小事,每一丝言行中努力去做他们一生中最好的老师吧!

《最好的老师》读后感

走上教师工作岗位已经九年,在致力于钻研教学,创新教法,研究学法,搞好课堂教学的同时,也注重对学生的关心。但一直以来有一个问题始终萦绕在脑海:究竟怎样做才能称之为“好老师”?今天读了《最好的老师》后,猛然顿悟。这篇文章字里行间始终透着一个字——爱,要把“爱”放在首位,因为没有爱就没有教育!这爱不仅仅是教师要关注学生的学习,更指教师要关心学生的生活和身心。

首先,作为教师要允许学生犯错,要用一颗宽容的心对待学生的错误。 我们教师如果真要想和学生相处,就要平等的对待学生,不要老用教师的身份,大人的思想来衡量学生,毕竟学生还不是大人。学生的思维有时还很幼稚,还会做错很多事。要允许学生去犯错,犯了错允许他去改正,这样学生才能在曲折中成长。有时,我们教师就会犯这样的错误:绝对不允许学生犯错,上课迟到了,做错事情了,违犯纪律了等等。这样恰恰相反,学生会因为你要求太严而产生抵触情绪,就像学生抵触其父母一样。虽然我们都是为他们好,但是学生还是有很大的抵触情绪。原因在于,其实学生不光是你的学生,他们更多的是以一个人的形式存在的,因此,你要把他当人看,是人都会犯错,我们应该允许他犯错,因为犯错是为了下次不犯错。

其次,作为教师要真正的去爱每一个学生,要真诚的对待每一个学生,尤其是后进学生。

爱学生,不单单是欣赏优秀的学生,更应怀着一种责任把欣赏与期待投向每一个学生,尤其是后进学生。

对“后进学生”付出的爱更要真诚。既注重对后进生感情上的倾斜,想方设法唤起他们向上的信心,又讲究有效的方法,让他们感觉到你是真的想帮助他提高成绩,你是真的希望他好。 浮躁的心、生硬的态度,使永远也不可能换来心与心真诚的沟通。

今后,作为教师的我会更多地从学生的角度去考虑问题,用“学生的眼光” 看待,用“学生的情感” 体验,用真心、爱心、诚心、耐心,赢得学生的尊敬和爱戴,要努力使自己成为一名真正合格的教师,更好的教师。

将爱进行到底

俗话说:“严师出高徒”,当我读完《最好的老师》这篇文章,我认为“爱师出高徒”似乎更加合理。如果学生是一个含苞待放的花蕾,教师的职责就是让他们在阳光里绚丽绽放。前苏联教育学家马卡连柯曾说过:“爱是无声的语言,也是最有效的催化剂。”在《最好的老师》这篇文章中,我们深刻地体会到:教师对学生的爱,胜过千次万次的说教。

1、爱就要用真心去打动学生

由于受传统教育的师道尊严的影响,师生之间有着一道无形的鸿沟。作为教师,如何去填平这道沟呢?那就是用滚烫的心温暖学生的心灵,用真诚去填平师生间的鸿沟。只有真心对待学生,才达到师生间的相互信任,学生才会把教师当作知心朋友,敞开心扉,倾诉他们的心里话。教师才能及时了解学生的精神世界,才能有的放矢地及时给以指导和帮助,使他们健康成长。教师不仅在学习上关心帮助学生,在生活上也要对学生嘘寒问暖,特别是住校生。

2、爱就要用耐心去感化学生

师爱还必须有耐心,特别是对后进生的教育。因为后进生意志薄弱,自控力差,往往是今天好了,明天又差了,反反复复。这就需要我们教师作耐心细致的工作。当然,这里所指的耐心教育并不是消极等待,而是要做有心人,为后进心的转化积极创造条件。

对于那些由于经常受批评而造成自卑、胆怯,缺乏自尊心的后进生,教师除了要有耐心外,还应“长其善,救其失,扬其长,促其变”。要善于寻找他们的“闪光点”,适时地给予各种形式的表扬,使他们尝到被人肯定的成就感,从而增强他们的自信心和上进心。我国著名的文学家刘心武先生在他的一篇作品中也有这样一句经典的话:“一个丑恶的罪犯也有他自己的心灵美!”我们的学生再怎么调皮也不至于将他与罪犯等同起来吧?教师千万不要吝惜“好话”。即使再差的学生也总有某方面的特长或优势,比如学习差的,他在体育方面很好,或在

音乐、美术方面有特长,积极的评价能使学生的进取之火燃得更旺,使后进生重新找回自我,获取克服缺点的勇气和信心。

3、爱就是用鼓励去关注学生

所有学生,都希望得到别人的关注和鼓励,都希望自己在教师心目中有位置。因而教师应努力为孩子不断创造成功的喜悦,给他们表现自我的机会,让他们体会到进步的喜悦、成功的欢乐,以此树立他们的自信心。

4、爱就是用尊重和信任去教育学生。

尊重和信任学生是沟通师生情感的桥梁。尊重学生就是允许学生在思想、情感和行为中的独立性,在规章制度、道德准则和社会行为规范允许的范围内,为学生提供更大的独立活动的余地;尊重学生还要求教师具有民主作风,允许学生提不同意见,特别是班主任不能把自己的话当作命令,要求学生绝对服从。信任学生就是相信学生有学好的愿望,即使有这样那样的缺点和问题,也是能够教育好的,“教育就是信任”学生如果受到教师的尊重和信任,就会得到精神上的满足,产生愉快的情绪体验,形成奋发向上的力量。如果教师不尊重信任学生,用简单粗暴的态度对待他们,不仅师生情感疏远,而且学生自尊心受到伤害后会产生自卑心理或抗拒心理,这都不利于对学生的教育。

5、爱就是用真诚去呵护学生

教师关心爱护学生必须真心实意,这是爱学生的主要内容。作为教师要关心每位学生的学习、生活、思想、校内外的行为表现。有了这种真诚的爱,就会使学生更加自尊、自信、自爱、自强,积极地自觉地接受教师的教育。

爱是甘泉,可以浇灌学生幼小的生命之树;爱是一把金光闪闪的钥匙,可以开启教育成功的秘锁。爱是最有效的绿色通行证,因为有爱,所以一路畅通。让我们将爱进行到底。

 

第二篇:一生中最好的老师

There is a story from many years ago of a primary school teacher. Her name was Mrs. Thompson. And as she stood in front of the 5th grade class on the very first day of school, she told the children a lie. Like most teachers, she looked her students and said that she loved them all the same.

这个故事说的是多年前一名叫汤普森夫人的小学老师,在开学第一天的时候,她站在五年级全班学生面前,对孩子们撒了一个谎。像大多数老师一样,她看着同学们,说她会一视同仁地爱他们每一个人。

But that was impossible because there in the front row, slumped in his seat, was a little boy named Teddy Stoddard.

Mrs.Thompson had watched Teddy the year before and noticed that he didn't play well with the other children, his clothes were messy and constantly need a bath. And ,Teddy could be unpleasant. 汤普森夫人去年就开始留意特迪,发觉他不大和其他孩子一起玩耍,衣衫不整,身上总是很脏,而且,特迪还不讨人喜欢。

It got to the point where Mrs. Thompson would actually take delight in making his papers with a broud red pen, making bold Xs and then putting a F at the top of his papers. At the school where Mrs. Thompson taught, she was required to relieve each child's past records and she put Teddy's off until last. 汤普森夫人甚至喜欢上用粗红笔在特迪的考卷上打上些大大的叉,并在卷子上方写个大大的F。汤普森夫人执教的学校要求老师阅览每个孩子的档案,她把特迪的放在最后才看。

However, when she relieved his file, she was in a surprise, Teddy's first grade teacher wrote, Teddy is a bright child with a ready laugh. He does his work neatly and has good manners...he is a joy to be around.

可是,她翻阅特迪的档案时,不禁大吃一惊。特迪一年级老师的评语是:特迪是一个聪明的孩子,笑口常开,作业工整,礼貌待人与他在一起很开心。

His second grade teacher wrote, Teddy is an excellent student, well liked by his classmates. But he is troubled because his mother has a terminal illness and life at home must be a struggle.

二年级老师的评语是:特迪是个优秀的学生,同学们都很喜欢他。但是,他母亲得了绝症,他很苦恼,家里生活肯定也很艰难。

His third grade teacher wrote, His mother's death has been hard on him. He tried to do his best but his father doesn't show much interest in him, and his home life will steps aren't taken.

他三年级老师的评语是:他母亲去世对他打击很大。尽管他试图努力表现,但他父亲不大理会,家庭问题失控加剧。

Teddy's fourth grade teacher wrote, Teddy is withdrawn and doesn't show much interest in school. He doesn't have many friends and sometimes sleeps in class.

他四年级老师的评语是:特迪性格孤僻,有厌学情绪。他朋友不多,有时候上课睡觉。

By now, Mrs. Thompson realized the problem and she was ashamed of herself. She felt even worse when her students brought her Christmas presents, wrapped in beautiful paper and tied with pretty ribbons, except for Teddy's. His present was clumsily wrapped in the heavy, brown paper that he got from a grocery bag.

看到这里,汤普森夫人明白了问题所在,她为自己感到羞愧。当同学们送给她圣诞礼物时,她更无地自容了。那些礼物都用漂亮的包装纸包着,扎着美丽的彩带,惟有特迪的例外。他的礼物是用杂货袋上弄下来的厚厚的棕色纸粗陋地包着的。

Mrs.Thompson opened it in the middle of the other presents. Some of the children started to laugh when she found a rhinestone bracelet with some of the stones missing, and a bottle that was one-quarter full of perfume. But she stifled the children's laughter when she exclaimed how pretty the bracelet was, putting it on, and dabbing some of the perfume on her wrist. Teddy stayed after school that day just long enough to say, Mrs. Thompson, today you smelled just like my mom used to.

在一堆礼物中间,汤普森夫人拆开了特迪送的礼物。当她看到里面放的是一串少了珠子的莱茵石手镯,还有1/4瓶香水的时候,有些孩子开始笑出声来。汤 普森夫人制止了孩子们的嘲笑,并大声赞叹手镯是多么漂亮。她戴上手镯,还在手腕处喷了点儿香水。那天放学以后,特迪斯托达德留下来对汤普森夫人说:汤 普森夫人,您今天身上的味道像我妈妈。

After the children left she cried for at least an hour. On the very day, she quit teaching reading, and writing, and arithmetic. Instead she began to teach children how to be a man.

孩子们走后,她哭了至少一个小时。也从那天起,她不再单纯教阅读、写作和算术,而是开始教孩子们如何做人。

Mrs.Thompson paid particular attention to Teddy. As she worked with him, his mind seemed to come alive. The more she encouraged him, the faster he responded. By the end of the year, Teddy had become one of the smartest children in the class.

汤普森夫人特别关注特迪。在她的悉心教导下,他的思维似乎变得敏捷起来。她越鼓励他,他的反应就越快。到了年底,特迪已在全班名列前茅。

A year later, she found a note under her door, from Teddy, telling her that she was still the best teacher he ever had in his whole life.

Six years later went by before she got another note from Teddy. He then wrote that he had finished high school, third in his class, and she was still the best teacher he ever had in his whole life.

Four years after that, she got another letter, saying that he would soon graduate from college with the highest of honors. Then four more years past and yet another letter came. This time he explained that after he got his bachelor's degree, he decided to go a little further. The letter explained that she was still the best and favorite teacher he ever had. But now his name was a little longerthe letter was signed, Theodore F. Stoddard, MD.

又过了4年,她又收到特迪的来信,说他很快就要以优异的成绩大学毕业。又一个4年,又来了一封信。这次他解释到,拿到学士学位后,他继续深造去了。 他在这封信中说明,她依然是他一生中最好、最喜欢的老师。不过, 这次他的署名长了一点,信的落款是:西奥多F斯托达德医学博士。

The story doesn't end there. You see, there was yet another letter that spring. Teddy said he'd met his girl and was going to be married. He explained that his father had died a couple of yeas ago and he was wondering if Mrs.Thompson might agree to sit in the place at the wedding that was usually reserved for the mother of the groom. Of course Mrs. Thompson did.

故事并没有就此结束。你瞧,那年春天,又来了一封信。特迪在信上说,他交了女友,俩人就要结婚了。他解释说,他爸爸几年前就去世了,所以他想知道在他们的婚礼上,汤普森夫人是否愿意做在他母亲的位子上。汤普森夫人当然愿意了。

At the wedding ceremony,they hugged each other, and Dr.Stoddard whispered in Mrs. Thompson's ear, Thank you Mrs.Thompson for believing in me, thank you so much for making me feel important and showing me that I could make a difference.

婚礼上,他们互相拥抱,斯托达德博士对汤普森夫人耳语道:汤普森夫人,谢谢您对我的信任,非常感谢您对我的重视,是您让我明白了自己的价值。

Mrs.Thompson, with tears in her eyes, whispered back. She said, Teddy, you have it all wrong. You were the one who taught me that I could make a difference. I didn't know how to teach until I met you.

汤普森夫人热泪盈眶,低声答道:特迪,你搞错了。是你让我明白自己可以有所作为。在遇到你以后,我才知道怎样教育孩子。
